Pinehurst and Fayetteville also have delectable options to satisfy even the most discerning foodie in your group!
After grabbing a bite to eat, it’s time to see what else the region has to offer.
Second, on our list of things to do after indoor skydiving is to play a round of golf at Bayonet at Puppy Creek. Just six minutes away from our indoor skydiving North Carolina tunnel, Bayonet at Puppy Creek is a public golf course with 18 fun and challenging holes, a 15-acre practice range, a chipping green, and two putting greens.
Nature lovers are sure to appreciate number three on our list of fun things to do in NC after your indoor skydiving: a relaxing walk along the Cape Fear River Trail. Seven miles one-way, the trail is good for walking, jogging, and biking. Throughout the trail, there are interpretive signs outlining the flora and fauna that can be found in this region. Who knows, you might even spot a few woodland creatures in their natural habitat along the way!
Looking to learn a little more about the area and its residents while you’re in town? Number four on our list may fit the bill: visit a museum. Active duty military, retired service members, and their families are sure to appreciate the 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum and the Airborne and Special Operations Museum. Or, for a more general overview of the area, visit the Museum of the Cape Fear Historical Complex.
