Tired of hearing your kids complain about being bored this summer? Indoor skydiving is a one-of-a-kind kids activity that your family will be talking about for years to come! In fact, anyone over the age of 2 years can experience how it feels to fly in a wind tunnel that simulates the sensation of falling out of a plane.
Paraclete XP is one of the leading indoor skydiving centers in the country. Here, we’ll explain just some of the reasons your family will love indoor skydiving.
Kids in particular LOVE to fly! Imagine their faces as they feel what it’s like to be weightless and free. The experience of flight expands their minds and gets their imagination going.
It’s a healthy sport for them, too. Flying in the wind tunnel requires muscle movement and cardiovascular health so you’ll be guiding your kids into a hobby that can keep them fit as well as helping them to meet new friends and progress in a sport they’ll love.
Flying in the wind tunnel is great physical exercise for people of all ages. As you fly in the airflow, you need to use your whole body to enable you to move around. This gives you a great muscular workout.
Your heart rate and cardio fitness will improve in the wind tunnel, too. Some people have suggested you can lose up to 600 calories in an hour of flight; this isn’t proven, but spend some time flying with us and you’ll see for yourself how much of a workout it is!
Finding fun family activities that everyone can enjoy is tough. Especially when you have kids of different ages, it’s hard to find something that everyone will genuinely like.
Indoor skydiving is one of the few activities that fulfills everyone’s needs. No matter what your age, you’ll love learning about body flight and trying it out for yourself, with the support of our instructors. It’s not a one-off activity either; you may choose to continue coming back to us to progress even more.
Paraclete XP is proud to offer Youth Leagues, designed to put kids in a program that teaches them all aspects of body flight.
Your kids can be part of a regular club that meets to learn and improve. Everyone in the group receives an equal amount of flight time each week and will learn all about controlling their body in the airflow and, eventually, competing in fun indoor skydiving competitions. It’s a sport that encourages participation, rewards progression and creates new friendships.
Whether you’re sharing stories of your weekend with your colleagues or your school friends, you’ll know how great it feels when you have something really exciting to talk about. And what could be more exciting than learning to fly?
For things to do with kids, indoor skydiving is an experience that’s completely out of the ordinary. It’s an incredible thing to do that your whole family will remember for the rest of their lives.
The entire staff is extraordinarily professional and gracious. They are extremely safety conscious while at the same time giving everyone as much freedom as they can safely manage. A rare combination. While we (adults) were there, our instructor also suited up and trained a 2-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl.
